A New Concept in Fitness that Embraces Technology

A New Concept in Fitness that Embraces Technology

BodyStrong.TV is the first website to offer downloadable routines for Kettlebells, Sandbags, Clubs and Ropes that you can stream on your computer, burn to a DVD, or upload to your iPod.

Stamford, CT (PRWEB) November 6, 2009 -- Body Strong, LLC has embarked on a new first, the development of an innovative fitness website, www.bodystrong.tv. Following the success of their book "Body Strong, Kettlebell Blitz", which was the first book written for the beginner to Kettlebells, Paul Bova and Robyn Bova have found a way to utilize technology to expand their functional fitness business worldwide. BodyStrong.TV allows subscribers to download full length video workouts to stream on their PC, burn to a DVD or upload to their iPod for a low monthly subscription fee. All of the routines are under 30 minutes in length and target the entire body. BodyStrong.TV is geared towards functional fitness, using Kettlebells, Sandbags, Clubs and Ropes. The website allows the subscriber to workout in their home, in the park, while they are on vacation, virtually anywhere. At BodyStrong.TV the equipment and the routines are portable, making the excuse, "I don't have time to exercise," obsolete.

At BodyStrong.TV members do not have to be seasoned athletes or have experience in a gym to do the workouts. The site is filled with tutorial videos that show subscribers the proper form for each routine. Each section of the website has a beginner program for those just starting out, and the best part is that Paul and Robyn actually do the routines, explaining the movements and encouraging the members each step of the way.

According to Paul and Robyn, "The question we get most often from readers of our book is 'When will you be releasing a DVD?'" In an effort to provide a video format of their workouts they began exploring different avenues, which ultimately led to the development of www.bodystrong.tv. "We feel the benefits of functional fitness are underestimated. This type of training builds long lean muscles, a strong core and truly helps relieve and/or prevent shoulder, knee and back issues.” BodyStrong.TV offers new routines every month, providing a cost effective way to allow everyone to get involved in fitness and stay interested. The equipment cost to start is minimal and the space needed is no more than a 10 x 10 square. "BodyStrong.TV allows us to share our functional fitness training globally, not just our routines, but also our teaching methods and philosophy, giving our “virtual clients” the same experience as those in our Stamford, Connecticut Gym."

Paul and Robyn Bova are very involved with the subscribers of BodyStrong.TV, answering every email that comes in on the same day and even, if needed, picking up the phone and calling them personally. "We want people to enjoy their experience on the website. We launched BodyStrong.TV in September and we are amazed at the number of people that are joing the site from Europe, South Africa, Australia, as well as here in the United States. We feel that BodyStrong.TV is the future of fitness.

Paul Bova, co-author of "Body Strong, Kettlebell Blitz", has been a martial artist since the age of 8; he studied in Shotokan, Aikido, Wing Tsun and Commando Krav Maga. Paul began his fitness career at the age of 16 as an avid weightlifter in High School; Paul used his knowledge to help train groups and individuals. His passion for fitness had him experimenting at a young age with different routines. Functional strength training became his mantra, using Kettlebells, Sandbags, Clubs and Ropes in his routines. In 2004 Paul began teaching individuals the different methods of functional strength training.

Robyn Bova, co-author of "Body Strong, Kettlebell Blitz" has been a dancer since the age of 3. She began teaching in her teens and ultimately co-owned a Dance School in 1994 which she ran successfully for over 12 years. Robyn’s teaching experience & passion for exercise, led her to start up dance fitness classes, running cardio kickboxing classes & personal training clients in their homes or gyms. Her true appreciation for functional fitness was during her battle with Lyme Disease, when traditional body building was too much for her achy joints. Using Kettlebells, Sandbags, Clubs & Ropes relieved the pain and made her body stronger.

"We wanted to make functional fitness available to anyone, anywhere", said Paul and Robyn Bova. BodyStrong.TV accomplishes just that, by allowing anyone, at any fitness level, to log on to the computer and get a full fitness routine that they can use at their home or take with them when they are on the go. All of the routines on BodyStrong.TV are short and intense, incorporating the advantages of weight training, with the flexibility advantages of yoga and the cardiovascular workout of running. "With BodyStrong.TV we feel we can change the way people view fitness and hopefully affect their lives to start living healthier and feeling better."
