Moguldom Media Group Lures Google Veteran to Lead Operations

James Bara Brings Extensive Engineering and Management Expertise to Take Moguldom to the Next Level.

(PRWEB) October 19, 2009 -- Moguldom Media Group, an innovative new media company, today announced the hire of James Bara as Operations Manager. Formerly Senior Program Manager with Google, Bara will oversee Moguldom's daily operations, including site development, innovation, risk management, and new initiatives throughout the Moguldom portfolio.

Said Marv Frazier, CEO of Moguldom Media Group, "We're thrilled to add James Bara to the Moguldom team. In a relatively short time, Moguldom has grown from a shoestring startup to the premier new media company serving the African American online media space. Now, James's world-class engineering skills and proven management background will help us consolidate these gains and mature as a business while continuing to evolve in new directions as the leader in the African American space for years to come."

Among Bara's areas of focus will be the further development of Moguldom's mobile sites, the development of a new Moguldom property targeting higher-income African Americans, managing the company's business risks, and leading systematic innovation initiatives across all Moguldom's sites.

Trained in both engineering and business administration, Bara's track record includes the management of global initiatives as well as hands-on, ground-up coding. During more than three years at Google, he coordinated and implemented the build-out of global datacenters and managed teams in multiple development areas. Previously, as Engineering Manager at Fractal Canvas.net, he managed and collaborated with an engineering team which developed custom Web applications and e-commerce sites. As an Applications Engineer with Pathfire, Inc., he managed a team of technicians who developed and supported satellite video transmission software.

"I'm excited about the opportunity to work with Moguldom," said Bara. "There aren't many jobs that could tempt me away from an established industry leader like Google, but as I learned more about Moguldom, their solid growth, sharp vision, and focused ambition were very attractive. I think the maturation of the company's vision and business will surprise a lot of people in the coming year--after all, this is a profitable seven-figure business that started with six dollars and grew extremely fast organically--and I wanted to be an early and important part of this exciting success story. I look forward to applying my knowledge and leadership in ways that affect every part of the business, and helping drive the growth and success of a new leader in a highly dynamic, ever-changing market space."
