Borrell's Interactive Advertising Conference Adds TV and Dot Com Speakers

Borrell Associates has added three top-name speakers to its Local Interactive Advertising Conference to be held in New York in February. They include a broadcast executive and two entrepreneurial brothers who run a half-dozen city-based sites.

Williamsburg, Va. (PRWEB) October 1, 2009 -- Borrell Associates has added three top-name speakers to its Local Interactive Advertising Conference to be held in New York in February. They include a broadcast executive representing the largest-share-getting TV Web sites in the U.S., and two entrepreneurial brothers who run a half-dozen city-based sites that compete with local TV, yellow pages, radio and newspapers.

"We've promised to put only the most successful people on the dais," said Gordon Borrell, CEO of Borrell Associates, "and these additions meet that promise. The speakers won't be the same you've seen at other conferences. These are people generally too busy to speak because they're working so hard to be successful. I'm delighted they've agreed to address our conference."

The new speakers include Michael and David Castello, the CEO and COO of Castello Cities Internet Network Inc. The award-winning brothers own a half-dozen City.com domains in California, Tennessee and Florida and recently hired a former award-winning weatherman from WSMV-TV to work for them at Nashville.com.

Also added to the agenda is Pat LaPlatney, Vice-President of Digital Media for Raycom Media, which operates 44 local TV stations. Many of those stations claim the highest share of all locally spent Internet advertising among TV station sites in their markets, and two of them have the highest share of ANY TV stations in the U.S.

"Remember -- we're not talking about audience share," said Borrell. "Big audiences don't equate to big revenues on the Internet. We're talking about advertising share. Raycom is a brilliant operator on the Internet. Anyone tackling the local Internet space will be very interested in what Pat has to say."

Borrell's Local Interactive Advertising Conference is subtitled "The Business of Making Money Conference." It will be held Feb. 8-9 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. For details visit Borrell Conference (http://www.borrellassociates.com/conference).
